A recent privilege of my career has been to travel with the Semester at Sea social media team to ten countries in four months, igniting a spark of passion for travel photography. Extreme travel – as was required in my projects in the Grand Canyon and Death Valley – has always excited me, but world travel has deepened my experience and expertise in the field. With only six days to familiarize myself to the visual aspects of each country I visited, I became adaptable, ready to work with tight turnarounds. The photos I created on travel assignments are some of the proudest of my career.
